Olympic Delivery Authority: Auditing Venues, Infrastructure for the 2012 Games

By Nancy Hala, KnowledgeLeader contributing writer

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) was established in 2006, working closely with the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games to deliver the venues and infrastructure for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this profile, David Law, head of risk and audit, encourages ODA internal auditors to share experiences and knowledge so that similar audit projects, and the ODA as a whole, can benefit from lessons learned. Law points out that one of the challenges still facing most IA teams is the lack of board-level communication skills.
