System Conversion Review Memo

This memo summarizes the findings of an internal audit review of an organization’s system conversion process.

In this sample, internal audit performed a readiness review of the conversion from one company’s application or system to another. Internal audit partnered with compliance teams to leverage the institutional knowledge of each business. The conversion was a joint effort and areas and corresponding objectives upon which internal audit focuses the review were identified. As a result, the overall project management structure for the conversion involved personnel from both companies.
