PMO Effectiveness Review Audit Report

This sample audit report provides a review of an enterprise project management office (EPMO) to determine if practices, management principles and processes are aligned with industry leading practices and standards as outlined by the Project Management Institute.

An EPMO provides guidance in the form of project management procedures and a project management artifacts library on the project management lifecycle (“PMLC”) as well as some aspects of the systems development lifecycle (“SDLC”). Key areas in which an EPMO provides practices and procedures include program governance, roles and responsibilities, standardization and communication.
