Cyberattacks are a growing problem not only for companies, but also governments. Some of the largest and most high-performing organizations are experiencing thousands of network intrusion attempts by cyberattackers daily.
In a recent survey, cyber threats and their potential to disrupt a company’s core operations significantly was rated a top risk; financial services and technology, media and communications companies rating it as a top five risk. What’s needed to manage these cybersecurity risks is the capability to quickly discover an incident, bring it to an immediate halt, and limit the damage. In this issue, we present four considerations for managing cybersecurity risk.
