This tool contains two sample policies that establish guidelines for the formulation, finalization and maintenance of an organization’s policies and practices. Any policy formulated should conform with applicable laws and regulations and should be consistent with the mission and philosophy of the company.
A recommended practice is that all formalized policies and practices are maintained by human resources. Once a month, each leadership representative shall submit any proposed or revised policy(ies) to human resources for review, clarification and revision, if necessary. Human resources will ensure that all required components are present.
