System, Database and Application Administrator Policy

This policy defines the roles, activities, and responsibilities of the administrators with regard to access rights to applications running on a company’s computer. It includes all system, database and application administrators (including third-party vendors) who have access to technology resources, either locally or remotely.

This sample covers specific privileges and responsibilities granted to administrators, expected ethical behavior regarding sensitive data stored or in transit within the network, service account policies, password compliance policies, and system-level password policies.
