Application Audit Work Program

This tool includes three audit program samples that can be used by organizations to evaluate and improve business unit application controls.

Sample work steps include: conduct a planning meeting to discuss scope, approach and timing; determine the appropriate auditee contacts; work with auditee contacts to determine the scope, approach and timing of the audit; complete a scope memo describing the audit scope and approach to be issued and discussed with management; and perform independent testing of critical reports/queries that are used by management to reconcile Oracle with the application.
