Management Reporting Audit Work Program

The objective of this work program is to evaluate the management reporting process. It outlines the checkpoints in preparing, compiling and reviewing management reports.

Audit steps include: obtain the required documentation; conduct opening meetings; gain an understanding of the procedures in place, key systems used, and key personnel involved in the preparation and review of management reports through discussions with those involved in the process; gain an overall understanding of the management reporting process; and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the key controls surrounding the preparation of management reports.
