Executive Perspectives on Top Risks in 2019: Manufacturing and Distribution Industry Group Results

Boards and executive management in manufacturing and distribution organizations view a substantially different risk landscape in 2019 versus the prior year, according to the results of our Executive Perspectives on Top Risks. However, our results also indicate that last year’s top risk issues for this industry group did not drop in significance – in fact, the risk ratings actually rose. What we do find is that the scores for the 2019 top risks increased substantially, suggesting that these organizations are focusing on more tactical operational areas to ensure that they can prosper over the long term.
