This tool contains two sample policies that detail the acquisition of new business(es) processes for an organization.
These samples provide a consistent, uniform approach for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition candidates. The process focuses on qualifying a candidate based on two major considerations: the candidate’s potential contribution to achieving the business unit’s objectives as outlined in the strategic plan; and the candidate’s ability to compliment the financial and managerial results of the business unit.
