This sample questionnaire provides an overview, key risks, expected key controls and questions to consider when reviewing an organization’s compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).

The ADA is an extensive civil rights law that restricts, under certain circumstances, discrimination based on disability. This law is intended to remove barriers which prevent qualified individuals with disabilities from enjoying the same employment opportunities that are available to people without disabilities. When an individual's disability creates a barrier to employment opportunities, the ADA requires employers to consider whether a reasonable accommodation could remove the barrier.
