Use the procedures included in this sample policy to govern the security of your organization’s computer/technical labs. 

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the company's confidential information and technologies are not compromised. In addition, this policy establishes requirements for internal company labs so that production services and other company interests are protected from lab activities. This policy applies to all company-owned divisions and company and internal labs. It also applies to all company permanent and temporary employees and third-party personnel, such as temporaries, contractors, consultants and other parties who have access to company labs.
