This project asks students to conduct research on various IT audit topics, including Electronic Signatures and Document Processing, Data Privacy Law, IT Outsourcing, Copyrights in Computer Programs, Website Legal Compliance, Authentication Service Providers, Email and Internet Policies, Retention and Destruction Policies, Source Code Loss, and Cloud Computing. Final assignments are expected to meet all the professional criteria of an academic research paper and reference accredited academic literature. Each group's assignment should also include a cover page, book formatting, a table of contents, headings, in-text references and a list of references.
