Crisis Management and Emergency Operations Policy

This sample policy shares an overview of procedures organizations should take during the crisis management and emergency operations process.

This policy will (a) provide rapid and effective responses to emergencies, including appropriate coordination with public safety and law enforcement officials and (b) plan and provide for business continuation as soon as possible. This policy can be used for communicating prevention, emergency response and business continuation issues to employees, government officials, the media and the public, customers, and suppliers during crisis situations.
