Military Leave of Absence Policy

The purpose of this policy is to allow military employees to actively serve their country. Under this policy, employees who are subject to annual military training or call-up for emergency service must make this fact known to their supervisor at the time of their employment, military employees may take a leave of absence to comply with state or federal orders for active service or to attend drills and may be requested immediately upon employment, and the service delivery supervisor must approve the request in advance of the leave whenever possible.
