Internal audit makes it their mission to eliminate as many problems as possible. In this sample, auditees are informed of issues to begin planning corrective action and a management response is coordinated that should be included in the audit report. It should also include the missing or circumvented process control that allowed the condition to exist with commentary on the condition, criteria, cause and effect.
