This sample work program reviews controls to ensure that all service activity—above and beyond what is called for in a warranty contract—is captured, tracked and billed to the customer.
Project work steps include: review existing policies and procedures that govern the warranty process; review policies and procedures relating to generating and accounting for services revenue; interview key personnel and executive management to obtain an understanding of the overall processes; perform an initial flowcharting of the process as described by personnel involved with service revenues and warranties; etc.
